For the month of September, take advantage of our special discount on fall vaccines.  For all vaccine appointments, Tillotson Equine will offer a four way shot free of charge.  This shot includes Eastern Encephalitis, Western Encephalitis, Tetanus, and EHV-1.

Core vaccines recommended by the AAEP (American Association of Equine Practioners) include EEE/WEE (Eastern and Western Encephalitis virus), Tetanus, WN (West Nile virus) and Rabies vaccines.  Additional vaccines sometimes recommended include Equine Influenza, Equine Herpes Virus (Rhinopneumonitis), and Strangles.   

A minimum vaccine schedule should include annual vaccination with the recommended core vaccines.  Some vaccines only offer protection for six months, and therefore, we recommend giving these vaccines twice a year.  At Tillotson Equine, we always research the most effective and up-to-date vaccines available to offer your horse the best protection possible.
