Tillotson Equine understands the differences within individual nutritional requirements of horses.  This specialized nutritional consultation was developed as more and more we see the complications associated with nutritional imbalances.  Obesity, metabolic syndrome,cushings disease, and laminitis are all increasing.

In addition, advances in veterinary medicine and our understanding of horses needs as they age means horses are now outliving their teeth.  A new generation of geriatrics need to have their diets evaluated to ensure they can get the nutrition they need in a way that is a suitable for them.

Extensive research has allowed for the creation of a comprehensive nutrition consultation that evaluates the current nutritional status of the horse and suggests ways to improve the diet to achieve the desired goals of owner and veterinarian.
